Didn’t I smile at this one! “Cradle” is just the right word, and just the way I treat mine. After all, I wouldn’t want anything to happen to that baby!
I don’t imagine you as intently zoomed on your excursions as this one photographer was that day. She was so dialed in on her target that she barely noticed anything else around her. Her bearing and her countenance all said “Give be a wide berth”! Somehow I envision you walking in more of a wide angle mode taking in all things and then focusing on what most draws your attention. I could be wrong.
