Longing For Water 
There is much to look forward to, provided we tread carefully.

The earth will recover. With or without us – is the question. The age of homo sapiens is but a second in the span of the earth’s life. Can our species with all its endowed intelligence keep from committing self -speciocide.

I have always felt that ants would inherit the earth. One of my earliest haikus was about ants.
When we are long gone
you shall inherit the earth
take good care of it.
