Longing For Water 
I love the double meaning of your title. When we were kids, we sometimes would hear the adults say, “You kids stop carrying on like that!”

Thanks for pointing that out.its It’s ironic that you inferred that there were kids carrying on. I wanted to include that in the poem but couldn’t. I just slapped on that title to show my resigned state of mind. It’s amazing that the power of our subconscious mind just does what our conscious mind couldn’t. Makes my day. 😊
