2. I grew up among those who believed that a cricket in the house was good luck. That’s why you’ll sometimes see metal ‘hearth crickets’ in homes. See?

   1. I grew up with crickets and geckos in the house. LOL. I remember a fad of us boys catching crickets and keeping them in matchboxes. We would bring them out and to try to get them to fight to no avail. You know about boys with to much time on our hands.
