2015.06.11: reconciliation

“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” – Mt 5:23-24

 
if God is our father
we are all his children
if you and i have an argument
and we can’t resolve our dispute
when we bring it before our father
who do you think he would favor?
he would hear our stories
yours and then mine

remember that he is the Spirit
he is always with us
even in the darkness of our hearts
he is also the Truth
he sees all
there is nothing hidden
that his Light won’t reveal
no elaboration will aid our cause
no mitigation will help our story
when we are done with our stories
he will open the eyes of our hearts
yours and mine
then we will know the story
unadulterated, unfiltered, unbiased truth
how truthful will our stories be?
will we hide our face in shame?
let us put down our arms
let us laid aside our armor
let us remove our fig leaves
let us embrace our true created nature
let us walk in the garden freely

for above all he is Love
he loves all
he loves you uniquely
he loves me uniquely
he loves each of us equally
he loves us together totally
let us love one another
as he loves us
unconditionally
