2015.03.14: what remains

For it is love that I desire, not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. – Hos 6:6

the days come and go
the seasons come and go
only the creator remains

the creature awakes
becoming aware of himself
being aware of his creator

to know God is to be
filled with love, joy, and peace
even if only for a moment

the seasons come and go
human lives come and go
only this moment remains

2015.03.13: love through the cross

Jesus replied, “The first is this: Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” – Mk 12:29-31

the kingdom of God
comes through the cross

love pouring down abundantly
must freely flow back up

at the intersection lies the heart
that bridges heaven and earth

with arms out stretched
horizontally diverting the flow

Emmanuel is God with us

2015.03.12: listen and follow

This rather is what I commanded them: Listen to my voice; then I will be your God and you shall be my people. Walk exactly in the way I command you, so that you may prosper. – Jer 7:23

down this road
through the fog
i hear your voice

leading the Way
showing the Truth
giving the Life

you are my shepherd
i am your lamb
i will follow
