the rain keeps falling
the long drought's all but erased
fall’s here but how long
tomorrow will never come
learn to love today’s not-yet’s

the rain keeps falling
the long drought's all but erased
fall’s here but how long
tomorrow will never come
learn to love today’s not-yet’s

even in a dream
the rawness of emotion
child separation
after all the sightings
it’s good to name the monster

framed by a window
between the trees and the clouds
the Moon on her way
that which stops us from seeing
only looking with our eyes

the poor in spirit knows that all of life is gift to be shared with all virtue starts with gratitude generosity follows

spending recklessly
wastefully extravagant
the Creator’s love
reconciling all who see
their errors and turn around
