Longing For Water 
Been months without rain here…don’t expect any for a while…thus the SoCal wildfire situation.

No matter how bad I think I have it, I always find someone who has it worse. Helps my gratitude practice.

Unusually for the UK we have had negligible rain in July and are in a phase the Environment Agency (who look after water resources in England) describes as ‘prolonged dry weather’ and I should know because I was in the team who developed the language around the phases of drought.

Hot and dry is normal for this time of the year for us but the land needs what it needs.
