live your all today
give praise where it’s due
make peace and love while you can

oh loving Father,
i am so grateful
for your boundless love
flowing abundantly
from deep within me
spilling forth into the world
i long to know your will
so that i may do your will
but not being perfect
i may never know
perfectly
your will for me
and even if i could know
i may never do
perfectly
your will for me
grant me this o loving Father
just for today
let me do your will
let me love you
with all my heart
and all my soul
let me love my neighbors
as i love myself
with the unconditional love
with which you pour into me
it is only a small wish
not forever
or even the rest of my life
but just for today
let me do your will
as Jesus taught us
